The intended purpose is to attach a ChrisCo drilling bit, hole opener, wiper opener, or any other BHA tool, etc., to the rest of the BHA. In most cases, Bit subs are board for float. Bit subs are most often regular API Box down to connect to the bit/hole opener and can be a multitude of other connections looking up hole (whether box or pin) to mate with your configuration. We stock a large selection of carbon steel/nonmagnetic bit subs in stock at all times to accommodate our clients. If ChrisCo does not have a readily available tool in any sub category, we are fortunately blessed to be backed by our very own machine/fabrication shop to meet those rush/emergency.
