Step Drag Bit Features

Step Drag Bit
Step-Type These step type Drag bits are typically used in very soft or alluvial formations such as unconsolidated sands, clays, and can be used for scraping liners in workover applications, etc. However, due to the expense of tripping in and out of the hole, the lower cost of these non-moving part drag bits versus roller cones, have a tendency to get pushed to the limit and often impress beyond its intended design. Unless requested otherwise, drag bits come standard with regular API connections and are center circulation (low pressure/high volume) bits. Drag bits are used in multiple industries such as oil, gas, and water well. We house a generous supply in multiple sizes and can fabricate any requested size, number of blades, etc. Here at ChrisCo we encourage you to bring us your down hole concerns, so we can work with you to solve the problem and save you time and money.
